USHJA Sanctioned Clinic with Meg Schulman, USEF “R” Hunter, Equitation and Jumper Judge

Meg Schulman has been an equitation and hunter judge for over thirty years, judging throughout the United States and Canada.  She judges an average of twenty shows a year and has judged medal finals including the West Coast Regional USEF Medal Finals, CPHA, PCHA  and LAHSA  Finals, as well as conducting many clinics.  She has served as a consultant in Mexico and New Zealand to help introduce hunters in those countries through her clinics.  Riding and showing hunters and jumpers  since she was twelve years old, Meg competed on the East Coast before moving to the  Southwest where she continues to compete and coach. 

Meg also has a B.S. in Psychology and an MBA from Arizona State University.

EQUITATION/HUNTER/JUMPER

Three sessions. Saturday and Sunday

Session 1. X –rails to 2ft. 9-11 am
Session 2. 2’3” to 2’6” . Noon to 2pm
Session 3. 2.9 to 3.3 Ft. 2:30-4:30 pm

            Meg Schulman will begin all sections with horsemanship/equitation on the flat.  Jumps will be set according to ability.  The cost is $200 per person for the weekend.

$20/day audit fee

EQUITATION INCENTIVE!

There have been some changes made for the 2008 season's Equitation Incentive. It is being offered again to encourage people to enter the equitation divisions. $100 will be split four ways in each division ( a 40/30/20/10 split to 1st -4th places) between year end winners of each equitation division-Pony Equitation, JR/AA Equitation, and Open Equitation, provided that 10 riders qualify at a minimum of two shows.


USEF RATED JUDGE INCENTIVE!

To encourage shows to hire USEF Rated judges, the MHJA will help pay for approved judge's fees from USEF Rated Hunter-Jumper Judges.
